Spots one through six remain the same and there’s some juggling at seven through 10.
We also have a couple new faces to welcome in week eight.
The game of the week is Muskegon at Grand Haven. South Christian and Catholic Central won’t be bad either.
1. Grand Rapids Christian (7-0) pounded Greenville 49-0 and appears ready to claim its first O-K White Conference championship. However, there is one little blip on that schedule remaining, that’s right – East Grand Rapids.
2. Rockford (6-1) punished Grandville 45-0 in O-K Red league play. Hudsonville is next. There’s a slight chance the Eagles could surprise.
3. Zeeland West (7-0), wasn’t expected to have a tough time against Unity Christian (36-6) and it didn’t.
4. Lowell’s (6-1) young offensive line looks to have taken that next step, making the Red Arrows a tough out once again come playoff time. The Red Arrows rolled up 335 yards on the ground against Northview.
5. Muskegon (6-1) held on against West Ottawa. Now travel to Grand Haven. The winner holds out hope of still tying Rockford for the league title should the Rams slip.
6. Grand Haven (6-1) buried East Kentwood (59-20) in preparation for tough two-game finish at home against Muskegon and West Ottawa.
7. Catholic Central (6-1) powered past Forest Hills Eastern, 28-7. It now has a tough, tough road game against South Christian. A win gives it the O-K Gold title outright.
8. Zeeland East (6-1) lurks in the shadows in case Zeeland West falls. East rolls Rogers 55-15.
9. Forest Hills Central (4-3) has respectable losses to Zeeland West, Grand Rapids Christian, and Lowell. Rangers could surprise someone come playoff time, provided they make it.
10. This week’s 10-spot cluster is filled by a couple “newbies” South Christian (5-2) and Kenowa Hills (5-2).
