1.EAST KENTWOOD – Falcons (11-1-1, 5-0) tested in a week which saw the defending state champions tie Grand Rapids Christian (2-2) and defeat Rockford with a second half, game-winning goal.
2. UNITY CHRISTIAN – The Crusaders (14-0-1, 7-0) 4-0 win against Wyoming Rogers ran its shutout streak to four games and marked its ninth for the season.
3. GRAND HAVEN – The Bucs (10-0-3, 5-0) prepare for O-K Red showdown with East Kentwood.
4. FOREST HILLS CENTRAL – Rangers, 6-0, 9-2 overall, scored an exciting 5-4 non conference win over Lowell and then finished the week with a 4-2 league win against Reeths-Puffer.
5. NORTHVIEW – The Wildcats (9-1-3, 5-0-1), since tying Lowell, have strung together four consecutive wins.
6. LOWELL – After going a little over a month into the season without a loss the Red Arrows (12-2-1, 5-1-1) faltered twice with a 5-4 loss to Forest Hills Central and then a 3-1 league loss to Grand Rapids Chrisitian.
7. GRAND RAPIDS CHRISTIAN -Â Big week for the Eagles (6-7-2, 3-2-1) as they tied East Kentwood and then defeated Lowell. In between Christian was upended by Reeths-Puffer.Don’t let the record fool you, this is a real good soccer team.
8. SOUTH CHRISTIAN – The third ranked Division 3 Sailors were surprised by Catholic Central (2-1). South Christian (9-3-2, 3-1) is tied with Caledonia for the league’s top spot.
9. ROCKFORD – Rams (9-6, 1-3) haven’t solved the East Kentwood puzzle yet. Rockford was a 1-0 loser to the Falcons, leaving them fifth in the O-K Red.
10. FOREST HILLS NORTHERN – Huskies (9-3-1, 6-0) posted back-to-back 8-0 shutouts against Catholic Central and Comstock Park.
