1. FOREST HILLS CENTRAL – Rangers shutout East Kentwood in an opening season matchup, but will they better come districts? Either way, anyway, the Rangers are ranked 7th in the state in Division 1 and No.1 with Mi Sports Page
2. EAST KENTWOOD – They are the defending Division 1 state champions and appear strong enough to defend their state title. For now the Falcons are No. 2 in West Michigan.
3. UNITY CHRISTIAN – Deep and talented Crusader team is ranked number one in the state in Division 3.
4. LOWELL – Red Arrows 5-3 win over Grand Rapids Christian confirmed what some already believed, this club is pretty darn good and ranked seventh in the state in Division 2.
5. ROCKFORD – Tough to figure. Rams beat Forest Hills Central who beat Kentwood, however, Rockford lost to Lowell.
6. GRAND HAVEN – Three wins, three ties. At this point the Bucs tie with Unity Christian may have been their best outing.
7. NORTHVIEW – Only loss a 4-2 decision to Unity Chrisitan. Defending Division 2 state champs. Lost a lot to graduation but should still be better than most.
8. SOUTH CHRISTIAN – Defending Division 3 state champs have wins against EGR and Calvin Christian and are ranked fifth in the state. Only loss to Unity Christian.
9. GRAND RAPIDS CHRISTIAN -Â Eagles have a good win against Holland Christian and let a lead slip away late against Lowell.
10. FOREST HILLS NORTHERN – Huskies appear to be the goods in the O-K Blue.
