Connie Sweet, award winning graphic designer, marketer and owner of Connection Graphics, designs and creates the distinctive Mi Sports Page layout. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising Design from Kendall College of Art and Design Connie acquired positions in the graphic design and publishing industry. This work experience as a staff member of ad agencies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, publishing houses, and governmental offices in the Grand Rapids and Lansing, Michigan market offered a strong base of knowledge on which she has built a successful design studio. Her graphic designs and publication work has gained recognition and she is a recipient of many Gallery of Printing Awards, including an International Gold Award.
Thad Kraus, for nearly a quarter-of-a-century, though his writing and photography has shared his passion for high school athletics with readers. Since earning a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Communication/Journalism from Western Michigan University, he has served as a high school sports writer for the Niles Daily Star, Elkhart Truth, Greenville Daily News and as Sports Editor for The Lowell Ledger. In 2011, the Bronco graduate, through a collaborative effort with Connection Graphics, published Mi Sports Page Magazines in the Greater Grand Rapids and Lansing markets along with sport programs for a trio of Lansing Area Schools.
